About

Payment has proven to be a welcome and successful application-agnostic platform for processing payments within Drupal.

Almost two years after version 7.x-1.0 has come out and with 2500+ websites using Payment, version 8.x-2.x for Drupal 8 is nearing completion. Many requested features have been added, and many #Drupal-WTFs have been addressed.

As with any software, there will always be users who have amazing ideas, and want to use the software for crazy things the developers could never have imagined. That's what this BoF is about: discussing edge cases and complex features that haven't been added yet.

Who is this BoF for?

If you want to be prepared for building e-commerce solutions in Drupal 8, this BoF is for you, whether you build web shops with Ubercart or Drupal Commerce, or code your own payment methods.

Preparations

In the few days before Drupalcon, please install Payment 8.x-2.x and try it out. This way you'll be up to date on the latest features and problems, so we can make a rolling start during the BoF. Also check out the issue queue for recent developments.
