This BoF is a demonstration of the Yild (https://www.drupal.org/project/yild) module and a discussion around its future development and what direction to take.

Yild connects Drupal taxonomy term fields to external resources such as Freebase, Dbpedia, Wikipedia and others through provider modules.

Yild is based on the work done at Yle - Finnish Broadcasting Company, where we currently are using Freebase and Finto as providers.

Contributors are welcome for all sorts of tasks.
