User Testing is a well-established tool that’s still underused by many of us who plan, design, build or support websites. This session will share insights we’ve gained from integrating user feedback into our projects and practical tips on why, when and how to involve users at different points in your process.
This session will cover tools you can use to improve the effectiveness of your site’s strategy, navigation, content, layout, design and functionality. For each of these points in a project we will discuss the different kinds of tools available to you as well as the pros, cons and costs for each.
Session attendees will come away knowing how to effectively integrate more user feedback into their web projects, key situations that might benefit from testing and the practical cost and timeline implications for adding testing to a project.
[ Note: this session will be similar to, but not the same as, the User Testing session given at DrupalCon Austin: https://austin2014.drupal.org/session/get-better-results-user-testing-%E... ]
