Every release cycle, it takes a while for teams to start building sites on the new platform. During the D7 cycle we had teams at the Examiner and Drupal Gardens that were building on D7 long before a release candidate was available, this helped get D7 ready for mainstream adoption. There are a few organizations that have built a production site on D8, but we don't yet have teams that are spearheading large scale early adoption of D8.

In this session we want to list the technical issues you can expect when adopting D8 before it’s ready and then discuss in panel how we could work together to find business answers that can help mitigate them.

In this session you will learn:

• What difficulties you can expect as an early D8 adopter
• How similar issues were addressed in the D7 cycle
• How we could address those issues individually and collectively
