Drupal was developed into a full application framework during the last years. With Drupal 8 it will be even more suitable as an enterprise application framework. In this session I will provide some best practices about how to integrate Drupal applications in an enterprise application world.

In Drupal 8 the REST service architecture in core will enable Drupal to seamlessly connect to any other application, no matter on which device. The mobile DNA of Drupal 8 will help to make data and processes of Drupal, as well as of other connected applications, accessible by mobile devices.
Together with the flexibility of Drupal and its contrib modules, Drupal can be the right choice to build truly flexible enterprise applications.

As an example I will show how Drupal can integrate with SAP and Sharepoint without any custom code. I will also show several components of Drupal that will help to connect with external applications and build business logic on these application's data. With this attributes Drupal can make the race as a full features application framework in an enterprise environment.
