In my experience as web-developer I learnt that when you want to use a third-party software component you need to ask to yourself: 1. Does it do all what you need? 2. How much do you know about it? 3. Is it a “mature” component? 4. Is there a good documentation? This is what I did every time I had to face a new project. I would like to inform you about the importance of this approach and tell about my experience on how I found Drupal Commerce on my way and why I choose it.
Then I wish to introduce the concepts of product variation. When you have to build an e-commerce, the variation management it’s one of the most complex part to arrange, so I wish to point out how DC resolve this issue making it a flexible tool to adapt to different types of business.
The attendees will have one more reason to believe that Drupal is an excellent framework for developing e-commerce.
