* About jQuery new versions and Drupal 8 dropping oldIE support (IE6, IE7, IE8)
* Why you might not need jQuery, and why you might not not need jQuery.
Delivery
Not just naming what's new. I will do my best so attendees understand the why behind each change, the options they have in their hands, and understanding the tools available to to deliver clean, high quality JavaScript.
Note 1. Slides are ready, with nod_ 's "seal of approval". (Drupal Core JavaScript maintainer)
Note 2. I have hands-on experience with Backbone.js and AngularJS, so the session could contain some tips about when to use them. If session is selected, content could be slightly adapted to avoid overlapping with other JavaScript-related sessions.
