I would like to present you case study about how to achieve consistency of the vocabularies between multiple sites and how to manage them from centralised Drupal distribution.
The case
- You have big client willing to run multiple sites (10-20-50-100 sites) on single platform.
- The sites should share common vocabularies.
- The terms in these vocabularies should always be the same across the sites.
- There should be only one, single point of control for these vocabularies.
- Each of the sites could also have local vocabularies that are not shared with the other sites and are controlled locally.
