Middleman is a ruby gem. A command line based tool for creating static web sites. If you are a designer with the skills to code the client side, Middleman will turbocharge your development process and let you use all your favourite frameworks, like Sass, AngularJS, ReactJS etc.. with very less effort. The focus is in improving the performance of developers and the result we work on.

This is great tool for rapid prototyping any project, not only Drupal. We will go through the reasons why should we do rapid prototyping with other agile methods and how does it differ from the typical processes. From the perspective of Drupal, we would like to show how to apply these components and layouts made with middleman into Drupal. No more Photoshop layouts, but a functional prototype of the client ready to be Drupalized.
