Jakob has been involved with the Drupal community since 2006, and works at Acquia, building distributions focusing on social collaboration (commons) and conferences (cod). He also co-maintains several modules for Drupal 7, and is excited to see how Drupal can be used in nontraditional ways.

In his free time, Jakob is a co-organizer for Linuxfest Northwest, a regional open source conference that brings in 1500 attendees annually. From his work at LFNW, he became a co-maintainer of the Conference Organizing Distribution, which helps Drupal camps put out amazing, full featured conference sites.
