As the EVP of Strategy at Phase2, a digital technology agency dedicated to open source solutions for some of the world's most influential organizations.
At Phase2, Karen manages an internal division dedicated to aligning our strategic plan, internal investment, and innovation. Her top priority is creating and executing plans to improve Phase2 and heighten our market position. Additionally, Karen champions innovation activities, product strategy, business planning, research and development, and strategic ventures.
Applying her experience creating and scaling a national non-profit organization as well as a background in product development for accessible mobile technology, Karen has played an invaluable role in developing a variety of Phase2′s strategic endeavors. Her passion is in the strategic development of products and services that serve a greater good, so her role in helping Phase2 innovate and grow — the open source way — is a perfect fit.
Karen received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, where she now sits on the board for their Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship. In addition, she received her MBA from Georgetown University. Karen is currently located in Omaha, Nebraska.
